Catmandu does not have kittens available for adoption nor do we accept kitten surrenders. Our focus is on older teenagers, adults and senior cats. Often, kittens are not truly abandoned.  Most times they are simply left alone while their mother searches for food. Kittens have a significantly higher chance of survival when they are with their mother. Even the most experienced and dedicated human foster cannot fully replicate the care a mother cat provides. Additionally, rescue organizations are frequently at capacity and may not have available fosters to take in the kittens.​
