Our 2022 Calendar cover girl, Annie came to us as a feral kitten way back in 2016. The rest of her litter tamed down right away and were adopted. Despite our best efforts, Annie absolutely refused socialization  and eventually joined  the sanctuary cats as a semi-feral. Over the course of the last 5 years, she has gradually and grudgingly come to accept people and actually enjoys pets from a few select individuals.  For them, she will rear up like a pony to meet your hand and lean into the pets. We are hopeful this beautiful girl will eventually find someone that will love and accept her on her terms. Until then, she is happy with her friends at Catmandu .
